Dear Prospective BTC Member,

We are so delighted that you have shown interest in our beautiful club. Our boutique, member-based club is family-friendly and tennis-centric with traditions so compelling that generations of families have enjoyed their membership for decades.

BTC was founded in 1957 by residents of the area striving to provide members and their families with a club that offers both competitive and recreational tennis in an environment of friendship and decorum. The goal was to foster a small community of members who would develop individual and family friendships through participation in various club activities.

In 2008, the Belvedere Tennis Club completed a major, multi-million-dollar renovation providing a beautiful new clubhouse, full bar, poolside accessible grill, heated saltwater swimming pool and spa, fitness center with updated equipment, new tennis court playing surfaces, and shaded viewing decks.

Our tennis program is one of the Bay Area’s best and is well known for following USTA’s Progressive Teaching system and getting members of all skill levels and ability involved in the game. We purposely attract and maintain a staff of professionals with exceptional teaching and playing skills who focus on private lessons to maximize individual potential. The club offers informal drop-in clinics, social round robins, and various group lesson formats as options to develop your game. For exposure to competitive play, BTC actively participates in local and USTA league tennis programs at varied skill levels.

The Club hosts both family and adult events throughout the year including Family Bingo Night, Crabfest, Easter Egg Hunt, Holiday BBQs, Family Luau, Children’s Halloween Party, Christmas Parties, and more. BTC has evolved to become a vital part of the local community, and, in 2017, we celebrated our 60th year of operation.

Below are the steps involved in the membership application process.
